Kathua: Chairman Indian Red Cross Society, Kathua, Om Prakash (Deputy Commissioner) today distributed hygiene kits, warm clothes and masks among the inmates of Nari Niketan here today.
Executive Secretary IRCS Kathua, Om Parkash Sharma; Superintendent Nari Niketan, Neelam Rani; District Social Welfare Officer, Abdul Rahim; DIO Parshotam Dass; TSWO Vishav Sharma; YRC/JRC Coordinator, Er. Vivek Sharma; Executive Committee Member, Khem Raj Sharma; Red Cross Assistant, Puran Parshad Sharma and Volunteers of Red Cross Kathua were present on the occasion.
While interacting with staff and the inmates, the DC assured that arrangements for a tutor, besides provision of beautification training and a computer for the inmates will be made by district administration at the earliest. He directed superintendent to motivate the inmates to pursue skill trainings in different trades so that they can become self reliant. ....
