The Arole Oduduwa and Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has urged Nigerians to patronise locally made products, stating that such gesture is required to grow the country’s economy.
Ogunwusi made the call recently at his Ile Oodua Palace Ile-Ife, while playing host to management of Titan Multi-business investment Limited, producers of Titan Rice.
The Titan team were on a courtesy visit to the African foremost monarch to formally invite him as the special guest of honour at the commissioning of the Titan Farms Corporate head office and rice factory located in Ibadan, slated to hold soon.

BCS Global Markets (“BCS GM”), the investment banking services division of Russia’s largest independent broker, has announced the appointment of Konstantin Pavlov and Ekaterina Naumova as co-heads of the firm’s Structured Product team.
Konstantin will be responsible for structured product sales to Russian and international clients. Ekaterina will focus on infrastructure development, including trading.
Prior to joining BCS GM, Konstantin spent three years at Rosbank, where he was Head of Structured Products sales to institutional and retail clients. Konstantin was responsible for setting up a platform to issue derivative products, as well as developing and implementing structured investment products for the Bank s premium retail clients. The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has urged Nigerians to patronise locally-made products, stating that such gesture will grow the country’s economy.
The Ooni made the call at his Ile Oodua Palace, Ile-Ife, Osun State while playing host to the management of Titan Multi-business Investment Limited, producers of Titan Rice.
The company paid Ooni a courtesy visit to formally invite him as a special guest of honour at the inauguration of the Titan Farms corporate head office and rice factory located in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
Oba Ogunwusi commended Titan management for their patriotism and originality and qualitative services to Nigerians. “We should commend the management of this great company and other few ones across the country for standing up to the challenges in the competitive market, it is obviously not easy. What I want to encourage our people to do is to patronise this brand and I assure Nigerians that they’ll be proud,” the Ooni said.
