At Manchester Magistrates Court on 30 November 2020 a judge agreed to the forfeiture of £5.8 million of criminally obtained funds following an investigation by GMP s Economic Crime Unit - a specialized unit within GMP s Serious Organised Crime Group.  The company directors had 30 days to appeal the verdict but this time has now passed and they are liable to forfeit the full amount. It marks the biggest Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) forfeiture in the history of Greater Manchester Police.
