I ve been thinking lately about The Citizen s long history serving this community, and how the work the current team of journalists here did in 2020 fits into that legacy.
There doesn t appear to be a pattern. Miami and New York are big markets. Indianapolis and Minnesota have regularly been good over the past 10 years.
The teams hosting the most games lean heavily to the West Coast Oakland/Las Vegas, Arizona, San Francisco and Seattle are Nos. 2-5 but Jacksonville is No. 1 at 72.7% (8 of 11 prime-time games at home). Again, a mix of big and small markets and no obvious correlation to success.
The Colts most recent home prime-time game was Dec. 14, 2017. Three starters remain with the Colts from that game: Jack Doyle, T.Y. Hilton and Kenny Moore. Chuck Pagano was coaching. Frank Gore was the team s leading rusher. Antonio Morrison and Matthias Farley were the top tacklers. Jonathan Hankins and Barkevious Mingo had sacks.
