Norwegian Cruise Line unveils new class of ships

With voyages beginning in summer 2022, Norwegian Prima, the first of the six ships, will be 965 feet long, 142,500 gross tons and able to accommodate 3,215 guests at double occupancy. The vessel will be a game-changer for NCL, offering guests exciting itineraries, more wide-open spaces, thoughtful and stunning design, a variety of new experiences as well as Norwegian’s exceptional service.

Norwegian Prima, the first of six ships under Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) new Prima Class, mere days after its debut in 2022 was leaked early this week.
Described as a “game-changer for NCL”,
Norwegian Prima is a premium cruise product that promises outstanding itineraries in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Northern Europe, 36 per cent more wide-open spaces than on the massive Breakaway Class ships, thoughtful design that brings guests closer to nature as well as their surroundings, and a variety of new experiences supported by a high staff-to-guest ratio of 1:3.
Norwegian Cruise Line revealed more details about the first of its new class of cruise ships, the Norwegian Prima, which is set to debut in 2022 and make its way to Port Canaveral.

Norwegian Cruise Line s first new ship class in almost a decade will have a food hall, a wraparound boulevard and more outdoor deck space than any of its previous vessels.
The Norwegian Prima will be the first ship in the new Prima Class and will be followed by a sister vessel every year for five years.
The 3,215-paseenger Prima will have a host of new-to-brand spaces, amenities and experiences. This is an evolution of our brand, said Norwegian s chief sales officer, Katina Athanasiou.
