Blooming Inverkip has organised a whole host of village-wide activities, including a successful planter competition for youngsters. Volunteer Bob Russell says the group’s members were keen not to let the year pass by just because of Covid-19 - and determined to make the most of their free time during lockdown. Bob said: “It’s been a crazy year for everybody but to be honest it has been a really productive year for the group. “We thought about shutting down for the year and forgetting about it, but the guys are a resilient bunch so we came up with other plans.
