Mackay Mayor Greg Williamson said the council had worked with NBN Co to install the satellite technology at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre and at Sarina. After the Tropical Cyclone Debbie, one of the biggest issues that we had in our valley, was communication, Cr Williamson said.
