Welcome to the August edition of the ASQA Update. As we look at the previous financial year in the rear-view mirror, now is the time we bring together reflections and articulate how to do things more effectively, efficiently, and collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for the coming year. ASQA is finalising the 2021-22 Corporate Plan, setting the strategic direction for the next 4 years. This plan reflects the priorities set by Government to achieve our purpose, with a critical focus on best practice regulation to enable and support the sector’s role in economic recovery, which we know is vital to Australia’s future growth and prosperity. Through effective regulation, we are committed to our own continuous improvement, and to supporting ongoing quality in training provision across the VET sector.
