Metroparks plans bike pump track at Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation
Bicyclists might be pumped about the latest plan from Cleveland Metroparks.
The parks system said in a news release on Wednesday morning, May 19, that it will add a pump track a looped track designed for BMX and mountain bike riders that features small hills and banked turns, allowing riders to maximize their momentum along the track with minimal pedaling at Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. Additionally, Metroparks said in the release, it is partnering with the Student Conservation Association (SCA) to work on an expansion of the existing mountain bike trail at Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation through hands-on conservation and natural resource management training for urban youth.

Tourism Minister Stuart Nash is in Arrowtown today to announce millions in Government funding for a major $20.773 million cycleway project.
Nash said work on new and upgraded cycle trails in Queenstown, Arrowtown and Central Otago was moving up a gear as two significant projects passed further milestones today.
