Riverside Medical Group gives access for COVID-19 vaccine to homeless

SECAUCUS When Cristian S. heard he was eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine, he wanted to get it done right away.
Cristian, 31, from Eva’s Village in Paterson a shelter for those who face homelessness, poverty and substance abuse was one of the nearly 100 individuals who were vaccinated Sunday at Riverside Medical Group in Secaucus. After receiving the vaccine, he said he felt fine.
Dr. Raj Brahmbhatt, the chief medical officer of Riverside Medical Group, told The Jersey Journal that although no Hudson County residents were vaccinated Sunday, they still have “lots” of the dose for others who are also eligible in the county’s underserved communities.
