COLLEGE STATION, Texas â Christina Konley received a racially-charged letter in the mail just last week all because of the Black Lives Matter sign in her front yard.
The letter came through the postal system addressed to neighbor with no return address. It was postmarked May 23,2021, just two days before the one-year anniversary of George Floyd s murder, and said that Black Lives Matter is a racist organization and went on to say anyone can be rich if they just chase their dreams.

BRAZOS COUNTY, TX â A young teen was shot and injured in Bryan early Saturday morning, only hours after a person was killed in front of an H-E-B grocery store in College Station. All unfolded just one day after a shooting that took place outdoors in a College Station neighborhood, leaving one person unconscious and hospitalized. Police say these incidents are all unrelated, though they are not providing many details of the cases at this time.

COLLEGE STATION, TX â Thursday morning, just before 10:00 am, College Station Police responded to a call regarding civil disturbance. When the officer arrived on the scene the situation escalated quickly. The suspect was considered dangerous which called for a heavy response of emergency personnel.
The officer approached the male suspect to ensure everything was okay and that is when the male suspect, now identified as Jonathan Bridges, pulled out a gun on the officer.
âThe officer got on scene to make contact with the two individuals to make sure they were okay, said Tristen Lopez, Public Information Officer for College Station Police Department. This happened outside of an apartment in the parking lot at that time the male suspect pulled out a gun and began shooting,â
