WARREN A jury trial is expected to begin Monday in a Trumbull County Common Pleas courtroom for a Liberty man accused of shooting a neighbor last summer.
Daryl L. Casey Jr., 27, of Woodgate Lane, is facing charges of felonious assault, improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation and having weapons while under restrictions.
Casey, who is on electronically monitored house arrest after posting a $40,000 bond, will be represented by attorney Walter T. Madison.
After his initial arraignment Sept. 10, 2020, Casey was held without bond after Judge Ronald Rice called him a “threat to society.” The next week, however, the judge reinstated the original bond that was set in Girard Municipal Court.
