A funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, at St. John Lutheran Church in Killdeer. Pastor Dorothy Stein will officiate. Arrangements by Ladbury Funeral Service in Dickinson, N.D.

Marlys L. Dolezal Marlys L. Dolezal, 90, Dickinson, died Friday, April 9, 2021 at her home. Marlys’s funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2021 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Dorothy Stein as officiant. Interment will take place at Oakdale Cemetery, Killdeer. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with a prayer service and a time of sharing at 7 p.m. A livestream link for the funeral service will be available on the funeral home website below the obituary. Marlys Knutson was born in New Salem on August 12, 1930 to Cornelius A. and Inger Anderson Knutson. She grew up in Almont and graduated from Almont High School in 1948. She attended Dickinson State Teachers College where she met her future husband Richard.  They were married in Almont on July 9, 1950.

Garrett Houghton Garrett P. Houghton, 30, Bismarck, formerly of Killdeer, died Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn., with his family at his side. Garrett’s Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2021 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Killdeer with Rev. Dorothy Stein as officiant. There will be a prayer service at 6 p.m. on Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Killdeer.
