Click here and subscribe today.  Melbourne s homeless population continues to rise even though City Hall officials and a multitude of community partners have never put forth more effort or resources to tackle the problem, City Manager Shannon Lewis notes. The number of citizen and business complaints regarding the homeless, homeless camps and panhandling has increased over the past year, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic began, Lewis said in a memo to the Melbourne City Council.

Apr 24, 2021 Anthony William (Bill) Pasquarella, 68 of Steubenville, OH passed away on 4/20/2021 after succumbing to his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Bill was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Anthony & Ruth Mary Pasquarella. He grew up with his two sisters Yvonne & Charmaine. As a teen, he loved spending his time with his neighborhood friends, who are still considered his brothers to this day. As he got older, he attended Francisican University of Steubenville and played baseball and graduated with a degree in Accounting. In his early-thirties, he met his wife Wendy and they were together for thirty-six years. As a couple, they enjoyed attending concerts, sporting events and caring for their children Derek, Jason, Harmony & Shannon. Bill enjoyed watching Pittsburgh sports & riding his 1966 Harley Davidson and took pride in his occupations at Kaufman’s Delivery, Levelor Corporation & UPS, where he spent 24 years, most of which as a delivery driver.
