Demetruis Renard Keith, 28, is charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of second-degree assault. He is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on bonds totaling $195,000. Court records also list his name in previous arrests as Demetrius Renard Keith.

They have named the suspect as 28-year-old Demetruis Keith of Alexander City.
The Montgomery Police Department requested SBI agents to investigate the shooting.
The SBI says Keith has been arrested and charged with second-degree assault from a separate incident which happened earlier that day. The SBI says additional charges related to the officer-involved shooting are forthcoming.
Two Montgomery police officers were shot Saturday. Police say it started shortly after 2 p.m., when they responded to a shooting call in the 3700 block of Lower Wetumpka Road. They say they found a man with a life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Court records have provided more details about a man involved in a shootout that left two Montgomery police officers injured over the weekend.
According to an arrest affidavit, Demetrius Renard Keith is charged with three counts of attempted murder and assault second-degree for an incident that started in the 3700 block of Lower Wetumpka Road.
According to Montgomery police, officers and medics were called to Lower Wetumpka Road after a call that someone had been shot. When they arrived, they found a man who had life-threatening injuries.
