LOUISVILLE, Ky. Gov. Andy Beshear announced Friday the state s capacity restrictions on indoor and outdoor events will be lifted June 11. All indoor and outdoors events will be open to 100% capacity.
June 11 is the same day Beshear said the state will lift the mask mandate. The governor cited the decision to continue the mandate until that date is to give unvaccinated Kentuckians the opportunity to register for vaccine appointments and give time for the 12-15 age group to get vaccinated. On June 11, life will almost fully be back to normal, Beshear said. This is an entirely new day and this is really exciting.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. We re hiring signs are plastered all over Louisville across all industries, as businesses try to fill empty positions. As they deal with staffing shortages, Kentucky has reinstated its unemployment work search requirement this week.
The mandate was removed during the pandemic last year, which requires anyone receiving unemployment benefits to show proof of searching for work.
Mobile COVID-19 vaccine sites popping up around region to reach more people

SIMPSONVILLE, Ky.
As vaccine clinics around the area are seeing appointments go unfilled, including Louisville s mass vaccine site, health officials are branching out. To reach more people, mobile vaccine pop-up clinics are setting up. UofL Health operated a clinic at The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass Thursday.
