The Washington County Career Center honors its April Students of the Month, Montana Brown, Katana Felter, and Zoe Graham.
Montana Brown is a Belpre senior enrolled in the Auto Mechanics program. He is the son of Alan Smith and Kelli Brown of Belpre and the grandson of William and Ann Kidder of Belpre.
At the Career Center, Brown is a member the SkillsUSA youth organization. He has been on the Career Center’s Honor Roll, Merit Roll and the Energy Bus Driver program, for meeting all three criteria for 3.0 GPA or higher, 95% attendance or higher, and no office referrals.

Dresden selectmen on Tuesday, Dec. 22 discussed the performance of the town’s snowplowing firm, Seabreeze. According to information Town Administrator Michael Faass provided, there were minor issues with four complaints over the last large snowstorm, but “nothing of serious note.” The board voted to release the December payment.
Due to difficulties with an HDMI cable, the board was unable to carry the meeting on Zoom.
According to Faass, Sherry Moody was appointed sexton of Forest Hill Cemetery. The board also reaffirmed authorization to use the services of town attorney Jessica Avery in the matter of Ballard Road Town Way.
