Yokohama Tire Corporation will expand its distribution network in the U.S. at Intermodal III Industrial Park. Duke Realty Corporation’s Dallas office secured a long-term lease for the company for the 431,630-square-foot facility in Wilmer, about 15 miles southeast of Dallas. This will be Yokohama’s fourth location centrally located to meet its customers’ needs in the Southwest.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, along with Baton Rouge Area Chamber is hoping to get more money during session to fund the widening of I-10.
DOTD is hoping for a little more cash will flow their way during session this year, that way they can continue their project widening I-10. They are focusing on the funding for phase 2 which will include the interstate starting at the Lakes all the way to the I-12 split.

Sapphire Bay development will welcome Hyatt to operate its resort and conference center. Set to be located on the Sapphire Bay Peninsula and expected to open in fall 2023, the resort will join Hyatt’s Destination Hotels brand and showcase more than 500 guestrooms, suites, and villas, each with waterfront views overlooking Lake Ray Hubbard and the seven-acre man-made Sapphire Bay Lagoon.
The lead architect for the resort is 5G Studio Collaborative. Brian Bridgewater, P.E. with Manhard Consulting is the project’s civil engineer, and Lifescapes International will design the landscaping and tropical garden environments. Denver-based Black Creek Group has acquired 165 acres to develop the firm’s largest project to date. Upon completion, the two-building Class A industrial park will total two million square feet. The development will be completed in two phases. Eric Hawk, partner of Archway Properties, the co-developer in this transaction, spent two years assembling 42 individual parcels with 18 different property owners.
