A Coaldale man has been charged with forcible confinement after Taber police say they received a 911 call on Saturday from a woman who claimed she had been held against her will.Â
Police say an investigation revealed that the woman met up with a man, who was known to her, and she entered his vehicle. Police say the man drove off and began ranting suicidal thoughts, produced a handgun, threatened to harm himself, and threatened to crash the vehicle before the woman convinced the driver to stop at a convenience store, where she was able to escape.
