MAHOGANY on Tuesday crowned himself the new sprint boss at Caymanas Park, blinding PATRIARCH with speed before slamming GOD OF LOVE by eight and a half lengths in the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission (BGLC) Trophy at five and a half furlongs.
MAHOGANY pulled Dane Dawkins to the lead three and a half furlongs out and dismissed GOD OF LOVE in a half-mile split of 45.2 before stopping the clock in 1:05.0.
Meanwhile, Philip Feanny s PRNCSSHOOTINGSTAR, went within two-fifths of SAMARAONTHELOOSE s track record, posting 34.3 to easily win the season s first two-year-old event at three furlongs in the $3.5 million BGLC/ TOBA Juvenile Dash.

EROY won Monday s nine-furlong and 25-yard overnight allowance race at Caymanas Park, handing leading rider Anthony Thomas the first of back-to-back winners, pushing him 11 clear of Dane Nelson in the jockeys standings.
Thomas closed the nine-race card with an easy win astride 2-5 favourite FEARLESS CHAMPION.
Aboard EROY, Thomas took over from HARRY S TRAIN three furlongs out and turned back Nelson astride LEGALITY in the straight.
EROY, who had disappointed as the favourite in his previous race, scored a convincing victory at odds of 3-1, clocking 1:56.2.
Monday racing takes a break for the remainder of the month, with Saturday meets only until Emancipation Day, August 2, as part of Super-4 Week with four meets in eight days, which kicks off on Saturday, July 31.

BILLY WHIZZ handed trainer Jason DaCosta back-to-back winners at Caymanas Park on Saturday, outclassing rivals in the six-furlong Knutsford Park Cup.
BILLY WHIZZ, partnered by Dick Cardenas, won by five and a quarter lengths ahead of REGAL AND ROYAL, posting 1:13.2 after DaCosta won the previous event with IT S A BOY.
Phillip Parchment had to work overtime aboard IT S A BOY to outfinish Cardenas astride BRIDAL BLUSH, winning by a nose, both going off at 4-1.
Michael Marlowe also saddled two winners, GAMBLER and NALA S BUSHMAN, in the fifth and eight events, respectively.
Anthony Thomas rode two winners, RIDDIM UP and TURNONTHELIGHT, to go 10 clear of Dane Nelson in the jockeys championship.
