Webster was the spearhead, dropping 16 points in the second term to finish with 22 along with eight assists off the bench as the Breakers (11-21 record) extended their dominance over the Adelaide outfit (13-21).
The Breakers made it two wins from three games since returning to New Zealand to finish their campaign, having been based in Australia since December. With both teams eliminated from finals contention, late season pride and contracts for 2021-22 were on the line in Christchurch. Seventh placed Adelaide had lost their last four games, not having won since May 9 in overtime, while the Breakers, sitting eighth on the table, entered with losses in six of their past eight outings.
