INDIANAPOLIS Eli Lilly s announcement that their employees would be back in the office by mid-July was welcome news to downtown Indianapolis businesses who hope it s the start of a trend.
Lilly announced Monday 25 percent of its fully vaccinated staff would return to the office on June 1, with all employees returning July 12.
That’s welcome news for downtown businesses like Soupremacy, near Monument Circle.
“What I’ve seen in the last couple of weeks, I’ve seen more people than I used to see all the time,” said owner Danielle Cooney.
Ten fine young men from Blessington have just run 6kms every four hours throughout the day and night in a 48-hour period over the weekend of March 5 to 7 - a total of 72kms.
In the process they raised close to €6,000 for the Movember Foundation - all going to charities aimed at raising awareness of mens mental health. They have expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported this great effort.
When they finished they were each presented with a Certificate of Accomplishment by Blessington Town Team Chairperson John Horan who commented that: the future is safe in the hands of young men like these .
