Supporters will be back inside Prenton Park on Thursday night for the first time since December Tranmere Rovers will finally welcome their “12th man” back to Prenton Park on Thursday when more than 3000 fans will be allowed in the ground for the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off first leg against Morecambe. To ensure fans can support the team safely, Wirral Council and the club are asking anyone attending the game to add a symptom free test to their pre and post-match routines. Symptom-free testing helps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as some people with the virus don’t get symptoms but can still spread it to others.

Tesco in Heswall is helping Wirral Met College to feed homeless people Wirral Met College students, who are making meals for vulnerable people this Christmas, have received a helping hand from a major supermarket. Tesco in Heswall is supplying food items to the student chefs to support homeless people in Wirral this festive season. The college, which is working alongside Hope for the Hungry, requested the food items from Tesco so its professional cookery students could create 150 meals each week for those in need in the area. Hope for the Hungry will collect these weekly top ups of pre-prepared meals over December and distribute them around the community.
