DOUGLASVILLE, GA A Douglas County emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence has been awarded a $10,000 grant by a Georgia credit union with a branch in Douglasville.
Atlanta-based Delta Community Credit Union presented its grant last week to S.H.A.R.E. House Family Violence Crisis Center during an online ceremony. According to officials with S.H.A.R.E., the money will be used to support their Teen Center, which provides youth activities for shelter residents.
