League donates new clothes to children for new school year

(WTWO/WAWV) – Children in the Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club camp received new clothes for the new school year Tuesday thanks to the League of Terre Haute. The league donated a new outfit to each child for the first day of school. The children also received new books donated from the Vigo County Public Library, as well as a new toothbrush and toothpaste. The League of Terre Haute has a clothes closet sponsored by the family of Louise L. Sommers that helps make this event possible. League President Megan Kirk says the children love their new outfits and their smiles speak for themselves.
