This weeks selection of photos comes from the Falmouth History Archive showcases a variety of events from 1974. The selection begins in an artistic manner, Laurie Miller showing off her craftsmanship and a group of Australian women admiring a painting. We also catch a glimpse of the late David Mudd speaking in front of a packed out crowd. The Falmouthian was a Conservative MP here between 1970-72, and was a much respected member of the community. RAVENEL, S.C. (WCSC) - Unofficial results released by Charleston County shows the town of Ravenel has elected someone to fill a vacant town council seat.
The report released by the county shows Terry Wilkinson is the unofficial winner of Tuesday’s special election.
The Ravenel town administration says results are set to be certified Thursday, but the election was to fill a seat of a council member who passed away earlier this year.
