Joshua Turner Williams, 20, of Albany and Madison Seth Knight, 19, of Sylvester were arrested last month in connection to the Theft by taking Criminal trespass All of the charges are felonies except the criminal trespass charge, which is a misdemeanor.

Arlington police chief arrested in domestic violence case

ARLINGTON The chief of the Arlington Police Department was arrested on Tuesday after a Baker County Grand Jury indicted her on assault charges, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced. Cora Baker, 39, who also was a Terrell County Sheriff’s Office deputy at the time, was indicted on Dec. 3 on three counts of aggravated assault. The charges are related to a domestic incident involving Baker and Timothy Hatten, the GBI said in a statement issued on Tuesday. Hatten also was indicted, on charges of aggravated assault, false imprisonment and battery (domestic violence). Hatten was booked on Tuesday into the Calhoun County Jail. He is currently in the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections in an unrelated probation violation case.

(WALB) - The Arlington police chief was arrested Wednesday for aggravated assault, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI). Cora Baker, 39, was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, which stems from a Dec. 3 grand jury indictment out of Baker County, the GBI said. Background: The GBI said on March 5, 2019, Baker County Sheriff Dana Meade requested the GBI Sylvester Field Office investigate a domestic violence and aggravated assault incident. The incident involved Baker and Timothy Hatten, according to the GBI.
