Two series ago, the White Sox were up in Minnesota. There was a brief moment of hope for the Twins where the won the first game of that series, but it was quickly dashed when the White Sox took the rest of the series. Josh Donaldson was “hurt” (do feelings count toward the IL?) so he didn’t make an appearance.
So far in 2021, the White Sox are 10-2 in games against the Twins. There’s still one more series at Minnesota, but those don’t come until August. The Twins maybe be relegated to Triple-A by then.

DETROIT Miguel Cabrera’s bloop single scored Jonathan Schoop from first base, and the Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 5-4 on Saturday for a doubleheader sweep.
The second game was tied at 3 after seven innings, and the Twins went in front when pinch-runner Nick Gordon scored on a wild pitch by Joe Jiménez (3-1) in the eighth.
The knuckle on the middle finger of
Randy Dobnak s right hand, which has experienced pretty severe soreness, according to Twins manager
Rocco Baldelli, hasn t improved much since Dobnak stopped pitching a month ago. So the Twins are giving Dobnak at least another month off.
Dobnak was moved to the 60-day injured list Saturday, partly because the Twins needed a roster spot in order to add another relief pitcher, but also in facing the reality that the finger is still hampering a pitcher who relies on his breaking pitches.
Dobnak threw a bullpen session recently to test the injury, and it didn t go terribly, but it definitely didn t go at the best end of the spectrum, Baldelli said. The manager expressed hope when Dobnak was placed on the injured list on June 24 that it would be a quick-healing injury, but we know that this is going to be a little while.

DETROIT (AP) Miguel Cabrera’s bloop single scored Jonathan Schoop from first base, and the Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 5-4 on Saturday for a doubleheader sweep.
The second game was tied at 3 after seven innings, and the Twins went in front when pinch-runner Nick Gordon scored on a wild pitch by Joe Jiménez (3-1) in the eighth.
But the Tigers rallied in the bottom half. Schoop hit a tying RBI single off Taylor Rogers (2-4). After Robbie Grossman struck out, Cabrera dropped a hit into shallow center as Schoop raced around the bases.
