Police uncover large drug processing facility – Strathfieldsaye
Drug Taskforce investigators supported by members from the Bendigo Divisional Response Unit have uncovered an extensive drug processing and manufacturing site in Strathfieldsaye this afternoon.
Police executed a search warrant a rural property on Taylors Lane, south of Bendigo, just before 2pm.
The extensive manufacturing site was discovered inside a large shed at the rear of the property and included two tablet press machines which were in use upon police arrival.
A large commercial quantity of what is believed to be MDMA in raw and tablet form was also found.
This includes about 30,000 tablets with an estimated street value of approximately $750,000.

OBJECTORS to a plan to build more than 90 homes on the edge of Worcester say narrow roads in the area will not be able to cope with the amount of traffic caused by a huge urban extension of the city. Concerns have been raised over a Rooftop Housing plan to build 91 affordable homes on the former Ketch car boot site next to the A4440 Southern Link Road in Worcester. St Peter s locals and parish councillors in Kempsey have objected to the plan saying surrounding roads are inadequate to cope with the planned number of homes and local schools would not be able to manage.
