Holly W. Vanderpoel was born to Erlin and Nina Beckman on Dec. 1, 1937 in Great Falls, Montana. As the youngest of four children, Holly was well-loved by her older siblings. She attended Great Falls Public Schools and graduated in 1955. After graduation, Holly worked as a secretary in a lawyer’s office. Her next job was working at Equitable Life Insurance. The 3,500-seat sanctuary is tied together on an Optocore digital fibre network, at the heart of which is one of Optocore’s new AutoRouters.
The audio network was installed and set up by Digital Resources, who are based close by in Southlake. Lance Eddleman, audio sales manager, implemented the Optocore AutoRouter solution for the church when he was presented with its ease of use and flexibility. Lance worked closely with Optocore North America’s Brandon Coons and Group1 Ltd to ensure the AutoRouter would be a good fit for the church.

The jazz pianist is best known for his work recording with the Pat Metheny Group, though he lent his considerable chops beyond the group, too. He died at age 66 after what relatives said was a long and recurring illness.
As a student at the University of North Texas in the 1970s, Mays composed and arranged the music for the One Oâclock Lab Bandâs album
Lab â75, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. Mays went on to be nominated for 23 Grammys, and won 11 as a member of the Pat Metheny Group, which was known for its jazz fusion music. Mays also found his talents charmed critics and fans alike after recording his first solo album, for which he picked up a Grammy nomination as well. Mays made five solo albums, and co-composed the music for the movie
Adkins Elementary School PTAÂ honored the school s namesake recently. The PTA gave
Dorothy Adkins a Lifetime Achievement Award â the highest honor given by the National PTA to leaders across the country. The award was given during a virtual meeting, and coincided with Adkins 101st birthday. The school s PTA has previously honored Adkins with the Texas PTA Honorary Lifetime Membership Award and the Texas PTA Extended Service Award. Well done, Dorothy, you re one of Denton s treasures.Â
