Following a standout 2020/2021 NBA season where they shocked many by clinching a playoff berth, the New York Knicks now head into the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft with plenty of expectations to improve the team. And it could begin with trading for Cleveland Cavaliers’ rising star Collin Sexton.
For the moment, the Knicks are currently scouring the players available in the upcoming draft, free agency, and trade market for a point guard. Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard was presumed to be the biggest available prize over the upcoming offseason, but all signs point to him staying put with the Blazers for at least another season.
