Paul Watts and Rev. Keith Johnson officiated with burial following at Simsboro Cemetery. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Mary Jo Coplen Johnson was born May 10, 1940 and she stepped into eternity on February 26, 2021. She was born to Max and Esther Coplen, the second of eight children. While still in high school, her family moved from Bernice, LA, to Ruston and visited Emmanuel Baptist Church. While sitting in the pew she caught the eye of the preacher’s son. Charles Johnson wasted no time in asking her on a date and from that day forward, they were inseparable. ....
Lairdsville, Pa. â A 23-year-old man was killed in a one-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Franklin Township, Lycoming County. According to the Lycoming County Coronerâs Office, Dylan Weaver, of Muncy, was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the crash occurred at 8:10Â p.m. at the 200 block of Cleman Hollow Road. Weaver was traveling south on Cleman Hollow Road toward the intersection with Temple Road when he lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a righthand curve, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville. Weaver s 2006 Hyundai then traveled off the east side of the roadway and went airborne, striking two separate trees while in the air, police said. The impact of the second tree was on the driverâs side of the vehicle, causing it to rotate counter-clockwise and come to rest facing east. ....
Updated: 10:04 PM EST December 14, 2020 LYCOMING COUNTY, Pa. A young man is dead following a crash Sunday night in Lycoming County. The coroner says Dylan Weaver, 23, lost control of his vehicle along Cleman Hallow Road in Franklin Township and hit a tree. The tree then fell onto the vehicle killing the man in Lycoming County. Multiple crews including the Lairdsville Fire Department were on the scene of the crash. ....
Dec 15, 2020 Dylan Weaver, 23, of Muncy, died of “massive blunt-force trauma” when his vehicle left the road and collided with two trees off the side of a Lairdsville road. According to State Police, Weaver was traveling south on Cleman Hollow Road toward Temple Road around 8:10 p.m. Sunday when his 2006 Hyundai undercompensated a right-hand curve. The vehicle traveled off the east side of Cleman Hollow Road and crashed into two trees. Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. pronounced Weaver dead at the scene of the accident.
