https://www.afinalwarning.com/513124.html (Natural News) The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has warned people to stop using popular Peloton treadmills after reports of 39 injuries, including a child’s death. However, the company remains defiant and says it has no plans to stop selling the exercise equipment.
The product at the center of the controversy is the $4,295 Peloton Tread+. The treadmill comes equipped with a 32-inch touchscreen that allows users who pay a subscription fee to access live and on-demand classes and enables people to run at speeds of up to 12.5 miles per hour.
According to the CPSC, there have been multiple reports of children getting pulled under the treadmill or entrapped under the machine, and they urged users with small children and pets to stop using it immediately.

MONDAY, April 19, 2021 (HealthDay News) Users with small children and pets should stop using Peloton Tread+ exercise machines immediately, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The warning comes after one child died and dozens of others have been sucked underneath the home treadmill. One family pet also was injured, CPSC said.
Less than a month ago, Peloton reported a child s death by a Peloton Tread+, triggering the ongoing CPSC probe.
So far, CPSC is aware of 39 incidents, including one death, and considers the Peloton Tread+ a serious risk to children for abrasions, fractures and death, it said in a commission news release.

In the video, the boy approaches the machine with a ball and appears to get snagged on the conveyor belt as it passes under the walking platform. The belt drags the boy beneath the machine, and at one point his head is sharply forced back as the roller continues to pull him under.
He eventually is able to escape.
The incident was one of 39 described by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which urged parents of children at home to “stop using the product immediately.” One child died, as reported by Peloton, the commission said.
