The college basketball postseason is right around the corner, with major conference tournaments starting Tuesday. On Saturday, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the schedule and seeding for this year s ACC tournament from March 9–13.
No. 1 Virginia, No. 2 Florida State, No. 3 Virginia Tech and No. 4 Georgia Tech earned double-byes while No. 5 Clemson, No. 6 North Carolina, No. 7 Louisville, No. 8 Syracuse and No. 9 NC State got a single bye into the second round. No. 10 Duke, after a 9–9 conference finish, finds itself in the unfamiliar position of needing to play in Tuesday s first round, against No. 15 Boston College.
The tournament will be at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C., where face coverings will be mandatory for everyone over the age of five.

Virginia, a 68-58 winner at Louisville on Saturday, is the top seed in the 68th annual New York Life ACC Tournament, which will be played next week at Greensboro Coliseum.
The regular-season title is the fifth in eight years for the Cavaliers (17-6, 13-4 ACC). No. 2 Florida State (15-5, 11-4), No. 3 Virginia Tech (15-5, 9-4) and No. 4 Georgia Tech (15-8, 11-6) also earned double byes and will start tournament play on Thursday.
