in Van Wert has been a valued part of your life and we thank you. It is
because of the moments and the people that the Van Wert Live staff
returned to Revive Live entertainment. This time of intermission has
given us pause to look at our operation and find ways to adapt our

Van Wert High School seniors will graduate during an in-person commencement ceremony scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, at Van Wert High School, and, during Wednesday night’s monthly meeting, the Board of Education approved the list of members of the Class of 2021.
Superintendent Mark Bagley said final arrangements are being made for next month’s graduation ceremony.

The board tackled a long list of personnel items during Wednesday’s meeting, including accepting the resignation of high school intervention specialist Ryan Parrish, then approving a three-year contract for him as high school administrative assistant. He’ll replace current administrative assistant Dave Froelich, who’s retiring at the end of the school year.

WERT The Van Wert City Schools Board of Education met Wednesday. A
presentation on the Van Wert Elementary School Regulation Unit led off
the meeting. The Board was also informed that two employees have
advanced or will advance on the salary schedule due to additional
college coursework. Jessica Small has moved from Masters to Masters plus
15 effective April 1. Traci McCoy will advance from Masters to Masters
CDC aware of 4 US states reporting adverse reactions to Johnson & Johnson vaccine

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are aware of several incidents involving adverse reactions to the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine in four states.
In a statement released on Friday, CDC spokesperson Kristen Nordlund told CNN:
“CDC is aware of several incidents of vaccine recipients experiencing dizziness, light headedness, feeling faint, rapid breathing, and sweating (vasovagal or anxiety-related) symptoms following COVID-19 vaccines in Iowa, Colorado, Georgia, and North Carolina.”
