Raja Koduri is back at it again, teasing the upcoming flagship Intel Xe-HPG graphics card. This week, the SVP of Intel Architecture, Graphics, and Software at Intel came to Twitter to share a photo of the Xe-HPG GPU with 512 EUs and stated that Intel is already looking into AMD FSR running on Intel GPUs. Raja’s recent tweet shows a DG2-512 GPU chip, confirming that Intel Xe-HPG GPUs will indeed feature an SKU with 512 EUs (4096 cores). Memory configuration hasn’t been confirmed yet, but rumours claim it will come with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Intel’s development on Intel Xe-HPG cards is ongoing, but Intel is starting to move on to game and driver optimisation, indicating that the hardware is nearly ready. ....

Intel ne serait donc pas le fondeur de cette puce, ce dernier ne disposant pas du 7 nm, mais ce serait en fait TSMC qui pourrait prendre en charge la gravure du GPU. C est le très sérieux Reuters qui est à l origine de cette information. Donc DG2, qui doit normalement proposer 4096 SP et 8 Go de mémoire en GDDR6, pourrait bien être en 7 nm. ....
