Lewis Williams, 20, suffered a shotgun wound to his face and neck in Wath Road, Mexborough, South Yorkshire, on Monday, 11 January. The boys, aged 16 and 17, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court on Friday and are also charged with having a firearm with intent. They were remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 18 January. The 16-year-old has also been charged with assault. Four other people have been arrested in connection with Mr Williams death.

15:51 EDT, 14 January 2021 21 shares Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a 20-year-old man was shot dead outside a supermarket in South Yorkshire.  The boys, aged 16 and 17 and both from Doncaster, were charged this evening in connection with the shooting of Lewis Williams outside a Farmfoods shop in Mexborough, just before 5pm on Monday.  He died of shotgun wounds to his neck and face during the incident on Wath Road. The teens, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged with murder, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and criminal damage.  The 16-year-old boy has also been charged with assault.
