A Ewing man has been charged with attempted murder for shooting a man in the buttocks Friday, a crime that a police officers heard while on duty, Hamilton police said Monday.
Donald Robinson, 27, is also charged with aggravated assault and firearms violations - including one that accuses him of having a firearm as a convicted felon.
Hamilton police say Robinson fired on a man in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Norman Court at about 11:15 p.m. Friday.
Officer David Broniszewski was about a block away at Greenwood and Atlantic avenues and heard the gunshots. He arrived second later to see a man and woman running toward him, fleeing the shooting.
