We treasure our loons here in Minnesota. They’re our official state bird, after all. They’re a feast for our eyes as we take in their impressive size, striking black and white feathers and their piercing crimson-red yes. Their beautiful, haunting calls echoing from our many lakes and rivers can make us stop what we’re doing and listen intently.
But what if our beloved loons went bad? What if they took a dark turn? What if they…went on the attack and targeted humans on a northwestern Minnesota lake?

When Charlette and Dan Fontaine completed the adoption process for 12-year-old Bianca, they never expected a TikTok video they made to celebrate would be viewed around the world.
Now, the Brandon family’s eight-second long gender reveal style announcement has been seen by more than 1.5 million people around the world on the app.

Dan and Charlette have been foster parents to Bianca for four years, she said, and the adoption became official on March 5.

I know the world has mixed opinions on gender reveals: some people think they’re just dumb, other’s think they’re sexist, and some just love them! Well listener Kelli Buntz sent me a gender reveal I think we can all agree is fantastic.
There’s this couple in Canada, Charlette and Dan Fontaine, and they wanted to adopt a baby, but during their adoption classes, Charlette was really affected by the fact that kids over the age of 2 are classified as “unadoptable” because of how steep their odds become of finding a home at that age.

A Canadian couple threw a Harry Potter-themed gender reveal to announce the adoption of their 12-year-old daughter, and fans insist it s the only version of the controversial celebration they approve of.
Charlette and Dan Fontaine have officially adopted their daughter Bianca after fostering her for four years. The parents, who are living in Manitoba, marked the occasion by putting a spin on the typical gender reveal party. I wonder what it is? the mom asks in the viral video shared on TikTok, prompting Bianca to come into the room and pop a black balloon that is filled with pink confetti.
