Promethean, based on Whitebirk Industrial Estate, Lower Philips Road, produces educational software and is running to competition to give schools the chance to share their most innovative and imaginative education stories. To enter the competition, known as Promethean Classroom Stories, schools will need to submit videos that show what is unique about their classroom and explain why it makes them proud, with a prize of one of 20 technology packages worth £3,000 each on offer. Funeral details for popular headteacher Mike Pinder confirmed

Mike Pinder DETAILS of the funeral service for former headteacher Mike Pinder have been confirmed. Tributes to Mr Pinder, who was headteacher at Tottington Primary School for over 25 years, have flooded in since his death on Easter Saturday, aged 70. The school has now confirmed that Mr Pinder s funeral will take place at 1.30pm on Wednesday, April 21 at Radcliffe Crematorium. A statement from the school said: As many of you will be aware, former headteacher at Tottington Primary School, Michael Pinder, passed away on Easter Saturday. Many of our TPS families knew Mr Pinder, so we thought it appropriate to share details of his funeral.
