BELGRADE â Earlier this week, MTN News reported a car wash off of Jackrabbit Lane in Belgrade caught fire, resulting in several first-responder agencies answering the call early Sunday morning.
The Central Valley Fire District has ruled arson as the cause of the fire.
The Rocky Mountain Car Wash was slated to open in early June, but a fire that is now being investigated as arson has set this family business way back.

Newly appointed Belgrade Police Department Capt. Dustin Lensing has spent his entire career with the department and said he is excited to continue growing here.
âI enjoy working here and have enjoyed working here throughout my career,â he said. âI started here when I was pretty much a kid.â
Lensing began his career with the department in 2001 as a patrol officer, and worked his way up to detective and detective sergeant before his most recent promotion to captain last month.
Belgrade Police Chief E.J. Clark, who was one of the supervisors who hired Lensing 20 years ago, said the new captainâs experience has prepared him for the job.
