Readers agree with the Department of Justice’s appeal to not release a memo, won’t vote for George P. Bush for consulting with Trump, worry about cyberattacks on the Texas electric grid and would like both sides in the candidate recommendation for District 13.

A number of strong candidates are standing to replace council member Adam Medrano, leaving due to term limits. Of those running, Sana Syed stands out as most prepared to raise up all areas of District 2. From Oak Lawn to the Cedars to East Dallas, the V-shaped district includes some of the city’s greatest assets and some of its most serious social and economic challenges.

Make no mistake about it, Donald Trump is king of the Republican Party, including in Texas.
Wood, a Marine veteran and businessman, campaigned to replace Ron Wright in North Texas’ Congressional District 6 as the anti-Trump candidate. He didn’t back away from it. At times facing groans and jeers, Wood told voters that the Republican Party needed to move away from Trump.

Several Dallas polling locations were closed for hours on election day
The Dallas County Elections Administrator is looking into why several polling locations were closed for hours on election day, especially in predominately minority and low-income communities.
DALLAS - The Dallas County Elections Administrator is looking into why several polling locations were closed for hours on election day, especially in predominately minority and low-income communities.
County elections officials confirmed multiple closures that totaled more than 13 hours of lost voting time. We were turned away. The young lady said both voting machines were down, said Eva Jones, Queen City Neighborhood Association President.
