(Photo courtesy of Seton Hall University) The renovation of the Bishop Dougherty University Center, which was built in the early 1960’s, will include new broadcasting studio space, an event room and new prayer rooms, according to the University’s announcement. “This project will create Seton Hall’s newest campus icon: an inviting, architecturally beautiful University Center that will revolutionize the student experience and enhance the entire Setonian community,” the University noted on its website.

South Orange unveils new master plan to guide future development of Village Home » News » South Orange unveils new master plan to guide future development of Village South Orange Village has published its master plan, a long-term planning document which will determine the future development of the Township, as well as the Village’s relationship with Seton Hall.  The plan, developed in conjunction with Newark-based planning firm Topology, includes many recommendations for land use changes including new open space, rezoning and bicycle infrastructure. “This has been a master plan of epic proportions,” Village President Sheena Collum said at a presentation on Jan. 14. “We want to make sure we have a plan in place that can withstand the test of time, that reflects the values of our unique village.”
