Haley said the fact that 67 per cent of Leeds and Grenville residents are fully vaccinated and that there are only two people with the virus in the health unit were big factors in his decision.
As well, the impending opening of the border to American visitors and Ontario’s relaxation of COVID restrictions under Step 3 of its reopening plan helped him in his decision, Haley said.
