American history was made Wednesday when the House of Representatives again voted in favor of President Donald Trump’s impeachment, making him the first commander-in-chief to be impeached twice.
The House charged Trump with “incitement of insurrection” in connection to the deadly breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. Five people were killed when Trump supporters stormed the building in a failed attempt to prevent the Senate from certifying the Electoral College votes affirming President-elect Joe Biden’s win.
