Business owners prepare for big changes under Phase 2

Washington business owners prepare for big changes under Phase 2 Q13 s AJ Janavel reports.  TACOMA - For some business owners, loosened restrictions under Phase 2 means they can get back to doing what they love. On Thursday, Governor Jay Inslee announced seven counties, including King, Snohomish, Pierce, and Thurston Counties, could move into Phase 2. Phase 2 allows businesses within these counties to operate with loosened restrictions. That was the biggest weight lifted off my shoulders in 10 months, said Adam Norwest. Norwest is the owner of the Tacoma Comedy Club. However, for the last six months, he has operated a restaurant out of the space.

Tacoma Comedy Club continues to reinvent itself to keep doors open

Tacoma Comedy Club continues to reinvent itself to keep doors open Q13 s Olivia LaVoice reports.  TACOMA, Wash. - While Governor Inslee s new guidelines announced Tuesday afternoon give a little more leeway for some businesses, some business owners tell us they’re scratching their heads trying to figure out if and how they can make them work. But for some - the challenge isn’t a deterrent. In the last 10 years, the family-owned Tacoma Comedy Club has housed hundreds of national headlining comedians and given many local comics their start. But during the last 10 months, the club has gone through quite the journey.
