Kent G. “Stick” Stickler, 85, of Spring Mills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at home.
Born on Sept. 13, 1935, in Bellefonte, he was the son of Malcolm “Max” and Mamie (Griffith) Stickler. On Aug. 5, 1962, in Port Matilda, he married Sonja A. Biddle, who survives at home.
Stick was a 1953 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. After 42 years of service, he retired from the Pennsylvania Fish Commission as a fishery technician. During his employment, he stocked fish, painted signs, and then worked in the engineering department.
Stick was a member of the American Legion Smith-Pletcher Post 779 in Centre Hall and the VFW Post 9575. He was an WWII enthusiast, loved airplanes, and enjoyed nice cars. He always had a project to do around the house and enjoyed tinkering around the property. He liked to fish and loved his four-legged companions, both canine and feline. Those that knew him would say he was a cantankerous man.
Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Lambert, 53, of Centre Hall, passed away March 27, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center.
She was born June 1, 1967 in Sawyer, MI. The daughter of Barbara G. (Smith) Stoddard, of Charleston, SC and the late Dennis L. Granke, of Sawyer, MI.
Beth grew up along the shores of Lake Michigan with her brother, Brandon, until she moved to Pennsylvania after graduating high school. Whenever possible, Beth would return to Michigan to visit with her late grandparents, Ernie and Pat Granke of Sawyer, MI, and to spend time at Lake Michigan. She loved Lake Michigan and always said it was her happy place.

James L. “Jim” Peachey, 91, of Spring Mills, passed away on Friday, Feb. 12, 2021. Born on Dec. 9, 1929, in Belleville, he was the son of Harvey L. and Anna L. (Hartzler) Peachey.
He is survived by his children Cedric H. Peachey (Sara) of Columbia, TN; Bryan J. Peachey and Ellen S. Peachey (Ken Lawrence Burg) of Spring Mills, PA; Donna J. Peachey of Colorado Springs, CO; their mother, Iris J. (Yoder) Peachey; grandson Matthew R. Peachey (Katie) and great-grandson Reed Peachey of Murfreesboro, TN.
Jim is also survived by three sisters: Lois Yoder of Harrisonburg, VA; Jane Diffenderfer of Reedsville; and Helen Yoder (Floyd) of Reedsville; and three sisters-in-law, Deloris Peachey of Belleville; Lois Peachey of Pipersville; and Janice Peachey of Burnham.
