BRANCH COUNTY, MI – A bicyclist was killed Monday, April 12, when she was struck by a vehicle.
The victim, a 25-year-old Coldwater woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.
The crash happened on South Angola Road near Nye Road in Branch County’s Ovid Township, state police said.
The bicyclist was riding south when she was struck by a southbound sport-utility vehicle, police said.
The crash is under investigation.

OVID TOWNSHIP, Mich. â Michigan State Police say a bicyclist is dead after being struck by an SUV on Monday.
It happened in the area of S. Angola Road and Nye Road in Ovid Township.
Troopers found a 25-year-old Coldwater woman had been struck while riding her bike. Police say she was pronounced dead at the scene.
