To mark the occasion, Bay Area organizations plan to host wreath-laying ceremonies, cemetery-side memorial services and more events to attend in person or to view online.

A high school basketball referee in Wisconsin died after collapsing on the court during a boys varsity game Monday night.
In an e-mail sent by the family to those who knew the referee, and forwarded to the Journal Sentinel on Tuesday by Richland Center administration, it was confirmed that Tracy Krueger, a longtime coach and official, was the referee who passed away. As he did as a colleague, competitor, teacher, and coach, he was once again sharing his love of athletics, competitive spirit, teamwork and fair play, while refereeing a basketball game when he collapsed on the court, Krueger s family said in the e-mail. Unfortunately, he was unable to be revived.
