Apr 26, 2021 Kamen D. Kamenov, 94 of Lily Dale, entered into rest, Friday, April 23, 2021 from his beloved home. Born Aug. 16, 1926 in Bulgaria a son of the late Dimitar and Anastasia Kamenov. He was a veteran of the Bulgarian Army. He was a political refuge arriving in the United States on May 15, 1971. Kamen was a tireless worker and was a self-employed contractor and also worked for various construction companies. He was proud to be part of the United States and felt an obligation to earn his own way taking pride in everything he did with his talents and work ethic. Kamen loved to work and never retired!

Apr 14, 2021 Sharon Clark Bykowski, 79, of Cassadaga, N.Y., passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2021. Sharon was born on March 11, 1942, in Springville, N.Y., to Eleanora and Richard (Dick) Clark. Sharon was much beloved for her kindness, friendliness, her expertise in early education, and her commitment to her family and friends. Sharon enjoyed her family, friends, and the home she loved on Cassadaga lake. Sharon graduated from Buffalo State Collage in 1964 where she majored in early education and began her teaching career upon graduation. Sharon retired from the Fredonia Central School District in 2008. Throughout her career, she made hundreds of meaningful connections with her students and coworkers.

Richard J Rich Lind | News, Sports, Jobs

Jan 28, 2021 Richard J. “Rich” Lind, Jr., 89 of Sinclairville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at Heritage Village R&SN Facility. Born May 27, 1931, in Jamestown, a son of the late Richard J. Sr. and Mae Edson Lind. He was a 1949 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School, where he played clarinet in the band, basketball and baseball. He was also a member and past president of the F.F.A. and was active in the 4-H program, showing Guernsey cows at the Chautauqua County Fair and receiving many awards. Rich was a lifelong farmer and had a herd of Holstein cows, heifers and calves. He never said no to helping a fellow farmer or neighbor in need which included many snowy mornings plowing for neighbors and checking on other family farms after chores.
